The cooperation agreement that has financed the Observatorio de Coyuntura Económica Internacional since the end of 2004 ended in December 2008. Steps are currently being taken to sign a new cooperation agreement for the project to continue. Meanwhile, all activity at the OCEI has been suspended.

The members of the project team would like to acknowledge the sponsors of the OCEI during the period that has just ended (Caja Mediterráneo, Fundación del Instituto de Crédito Oficial, Generalitat Valenciana and Universitat de València) for making it possible for the OCEI to carry out its work. Likewise we would also like to thank all the people, institutions and media who considered the OCEI a valuable source of information and analysis and have consulted the contents of our web site and/or our analysts over the last few years.

In the hope that we will be able to resume our activity with renewed enthusiasm and improved contents in the future,
